Routson Elected to Leadership PostHancock County Common Pleas Judge Reginald Routson has been elected to a leadership position by an association of his judicial peers. Routson was elected second vice president of the Ohio Common Pleas Judges Association for 2010. He was one of nine judges who were elected by Ohio's common pleas judges, according to the Ohio Supreme Court. He has been either a trustee or officer of the association for several years, Routson said. His primary role is to coordinate all educational programs for the association's biannual meetings, he said. The meetings are held primarily to provide continuing legal education for the judges, he said. The association's mission is "to improve the law, the legal system and the effective administration of justice," the Supreme Court said. January 28, 2010 - from The Courier |
